Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production
activities to ensure production targets are achieved at optimal cost while maintaining quality, safety, and
operational standards. This role requires strong leadership, process management, and collaboration
across departments to meet company goals and ensure continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the production schedule is achieved on time with quality standards.
- Develop short-term and long-term production plans to meet targets.
- Follow up on daily production schedules and adapt as needed to meet targets.
- Achieve production goals while optimizing costs and resources.
- Control waste generation and implement cost-control measures within the plant.
- Oversee process control activities from the forming stage to the final stage of
production.
- Maintain identification, traceability, and quality records for all processes.
- Support Quality Control (QC) in maintaining Inspection & Test Status throughout
production.
- Ensure workplace safety by supervising safety practices and equipment usage.
- Arrange and ensure the availability of tools, process consumables, and equipment
required for production.
- Approve documented procedures and work instructions related to production processes.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to production teams to ensure high
performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration.
- Monitor team performance and ensure the effective utilization of skills and resources.
- Oversee client inquiries from receipt to delivery, ensuring smooth processes.
- Coordinate with administration to provide accurate pricing and advice to clients.

Liaise with third-party suppliers for production requirements beyond in-house
capabilities.
- Follow up daily with the supply chain to ensure all necessary equipment and spare parts
are obtained, and maintain close communication with all suppliers, especially for urgent
jobs.
- Support internal and external auditors during audits by providing relevant records and
documentation.
- Coordinate with management representatives to implement and improve the quality
system within production operations.
- Drive improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and automation to enhance
efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments positively to achieve the company’s goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- (10) + years of progressive industrial experience in production or manufacturing
management.
- Strong industrial knowledge and expertise in production processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to optimize production processes and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Proficiency in manufacturing automation and process improvement.
- Ability to maintain quality standards and comply with company procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Physically fit to manage production floor operations effectively.
